Health for All
The Conference of Atlantic Medical Students (CoAMS) is a student-led conference in its 3rd year which seeks to facilitate student networking to build a strong community environment among Atlantic medical students that will promote knowledge sharing and future collaboration. To accomplish this, a series of medical talks and workshops will be offered to students by a variety of health care professionals and related professions.
This year’s theme, “Health for All” has a particular focus on global health, and finding collaborative, innovative solutions to the health inequities that face our communities around the globe today. This includes but is not limited to international health, LGBTQ health, indigenous and refugee health, mental health, community health, and addictions health. It may also include global warming, food security, energy crisis’, and political unrest.
